Aaaaah everyone was so excited about the Fairyloot unboxing, I decided to unbox my Owlcrate here aswell! January’s theme was Magical Artifacts and I quickly figured out what the book that would be included was, but that didn’t make me any less excited. Let me tell you, I literally squealed from excitement when I opened the box! So let’s start, shall we:

First up is this amazing tapestry, with art from TheΒ GoldenΒ Compass. I absolutely love it! I’m not sure if I have any room for it, but I’ll make due! It’s designed by Holly Dunn Design! I hadn’t heard of her before, but I’m definitely going to check her out!

The next item is a Grisha inspired antler bracelet, made by Team Owlcrate themselves. It’s goldcoloured and while I’m usually not fond of goldcoloured jewelry, I absolutely love this one. That might be because I’m totally in love with deer and antlers! Then we have the wooden letteropener in the shape of (who guessed it??) Sting! Remember Bilbo’s sword? I’ve wanted a couple of daggers for as long as I can remember and this is the closest I’ve gotten to them. I’m obviously very excited! It was designed by Juniper & Ivy Designs.

So, instead of a button, Owlcrate decided to feature a pin in every box. This one is a wolf, and it says ‘wolves are everywhere’. I am an avid pincollector so I was jumping up and down from excitement from the moment they announced this. This months pin was designed by Alchemy and Ink, who sell some of the most beautiful pins I’ve seen!

The socks on the right picture are (obviously) Harry Potter themed and designed by Michelle Gray and Team Owlcrate. I love bookish themed socks, so you bet your ass I’m wearing these tomorrow!

And look at that amazing pouch! Can someone comment some hearteyed emoji’s? I haven’t actually read all the ADSOM books, but I absolutely love this one. It’s designed by the amazing Stella Bookish art, and I recommend every one of you to either visit her Instagram or Etsy or RedBubble, just check out her art!

BEHOLD, THE BOOK! Isn’t it pretty?! I have heard such amazing things and The Gilded Wolves and I can’t wait to read it! I also got this super cute (and exclusive) luggage tag! Perfect, since I’m currently planning my holidays! And for the people that spied in the previous picture, it has art under the dustcover ❀ If I ever publish a book (never gonna happen, but just imagine), I want art onder the dustcover!

And the whole box! I love every item in this box and continue to be surprised by Owlcrate. It’s a bit cheaper than Fairyloot, but it really makes up for it in shipping costs since it’s a US based company (or maybe CA), which means shipping costs are higher. I don’t care though, I’ve never been disappointed yet! Aaaand, every box gets a sneakpeek for the next theme! (though that’s probably been announced by the time this post goes up). February’s theme is: Whimsical Beasts!

Hopefully you guys liked this unboxing just as much as last time. What item did you like most??

Until next time,

afsdj;adsjkadsjas; another gorgeous unboxing! and here are those hearteyed emoji’s you requested 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

I have a mighty need to start a dagger/knife/sword collection (though ….. maybe not while I’m living in school housing πŸ˜…) but honestly I’m just trash for all bookish merch? my Ravenclaw socks and lanyard are some of my favorite bookish merch, but I would absolutely hang that tapestry on my mostly-bare dorm walls, haha.

I am in love with the idea of book boxes. I just have not jumped into them yet. You are in the NEtherlands – do you find the shipping cost crazy high? Most of the boxes I would like are from America, and it is bad enough to ship them within the states. Now that I am in Switzerland, the cost is almost double and like paying for two boxes. I just can’t justify it right now, but I do love them!

So far it hasn’t been that bad. Fairyloots shipping is pretty okay. And yes, Owlcrate is more expensive, but it evens out since their box is a bit cheaper. I’m just sad that I haven’t found bookboxes from mainland Europe that I like

I alllmooooost got this box because I knew the book was TGW, but I drew the line at ordering myself 3 versions of the book LOL! That pin is really pretty, and I am glad they are doing pins!

My February box was delivered this morning (I didn’t have 2 copies already of the book, so I splurged!) and I can’t wait to get home to unbox it

I absolutely love seeing unboxings! Book boxes isn’t something that’s really affordable for me, the postage to Australia is usually twice of what the box is worth but Owlcrate seem really great value and they always seem to have great quality items. I’m a sucker for pins. It’s something you can collect and they take up no room at all.
