March is upon us and so is the need for me to fill your tbr’s! I have no regrets. Damn you Sam, I keep typing ragrets. Anywaaaaay, time to see what books have been/will be published this month so we can all sigh and look at our bookcase, only to click ‘want to read’ on Goodreads anyway! Tell me I’m wrong, I dare you.

Kal has been so excited about this book, which kind of automatically makes me want to read it (Kal is Queen of making you add books to your tbr, whether you want it or not. Some day I hope to be as great as she). No but seriously, viral magic? technopath? magical elite? ALSO QUEER. I CAN’T WAIT!
The Fever King (#1) was published on March 1st and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository!
I’ve always loved Amanda Lovelace’s books. They convey so many emotions, some of them I’ve struggled with myself. It was comforting and nice and I just love this just as much as the first two books.
the mermaid’s voice returns in this one was published March 5th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository!
Aaaah. Ok this is part 4.5 in the Shatter Me series and it’s about KENJI. I love Kenji!! I can’t wait to read more about him and ugh. I just want to hug him and tell him it’ll all be okay. Please read this series, I know it’s not for all, but you gotta try it before you hate it, right?
Shadow Me was published on March 5th and can be bought on Amazon (kindle).
This is number four in a series about young superheroes. While I have heard some.. weird stories about the writer I’m really excited to close the series with one of my favourite superheroes, Superman! I just hope it’ll be a good story, that’s all I want.
Superman Dawnbreaker was published March 5th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository.
Since Soph talked about this book, I’ve been psyched! She named it one of her favurite reads of 2019 ever so yeah, that should psyche up everyone! It’s a sort of Groundhog Day and that movie is my jam! I’m very very very excited to read it ❤ everyone should buy it and read it toooooo
Opposite of Always was published March 5th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository.
Hi can we talk about how pretty this book is?? It’s about the sultans last concubine and a mapmaker and there’s queer content and just.. historical fiction, fantasy, MAGICAL REALISM?! yessss. But! There are some triggerwarnings,
torture, slavery, attempted rape, so just be careful if you want to read this okay?
The Bird King comes out March 12th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository.
YES RETELLINGS!! This is a retelling of The Goose Girl and it’s a ‘ghostly mystery inside an epic fantasy world’. Honestly that’s all I need to reel me in. I’m not sure if I remember The Goose Girl right so I might have to brush up on that before I start this, but yes pleaaaase.
Bloodleaf comes out on March 12th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository.
I am very interested in this one. It’s about Layla Amin, she and her parents are forced into an internment camp for Muslim American citizens. She starts to fight for her freedom and leads a revolution. I’m very curious to see what Samira Ahmed produces, telling a story that could happen in an America controlled by fear and prejudice (honestly it’s not just America). But it’s a book that’s perfect for this moment and I can’t wait to read it.
Interment comes out March 19th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository.
THIS IS A QUEER RETELLING OF KING ARTHUR. I’m sorry, if you need more than this we need to rethink our friendship. Okay fine: look at the cover!! Doesn’t it look awesome? AND SPACE. I can name at least 5 people from the top of my head that are super excited for this book. Let me know if I should add you to that list ^^
Jup that’s them! If you think I missed an awesome read, tell me and I’ll add it to the list 🙂 Do you think you’ll be buying one of these this month?
Until next time,
