Buy All The Books!

Today is my last post before Pride month starts, and most (if not all) posts will be related to the challenge me and my friends have created. In order to keep up with my traditions (as far as you can call them traditions after about 6 months), I wanted to let you know what upcoming books I’m really psyched about!

Kindred: 12 Queer #LoveOzYA Storied by various authors, edited by Michael Earp

All anthologies with queer stories are good anthologies. While I do not know all the authors, the fact that Jen Wilde wrote a story makes it worthwhile for me šŸ™‚

Kindred: 12 Queer #LoveOzYA is out on June 1st and can be bought on Bookdepository

The Beholder by Anna Bright

Oooooh more ships, advenures and SECRETS. Not only is the cover absolutely beautiful, the story sounds really interesting aswell! Can’t wait to read this one.

The Beholder is out on June 4th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository

This Time Will Be Different by Misa Sugiura

The story of a girl fighting for something meaningful – her family. I haven’t heard a bad thing about this book and the cover looks amazing. It sounds like the story and therefore CJ, will deal with some pretty tough subjects and I’m here for that.

This Time Will Be Different is out on June 4th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository

Magic For Liars by Sarah Gailey

I see magic, I see private investigator, I buy. AND there are a couple of queer characters! And not all of them are good, not all of them are bad. Sounds like my thing, so this is definitely a book I’m looking forward too!

Magic For Liars is out on June 4th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository

Ayesha at Last by Uzma Jalaluddin

So. I have to admit something.. I don’t know much about Pride & Prejudice, but this really makes me want to read it. Ayesha at Last is being promoted as a Muslim Pride & Prejudice and resolves a bit around arranged marriages. That’s another thing I don’t know much about, but I do want to learn.

Ayesha at Last is out on June 4th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository

Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson

I loved An Enchantment of Ravens and I am really excited for this one. IT’S ABOUT LIBRARIES!! Also sorcerers šŸ™‚ I’m pretty sure this is going to be in a book box, and it’s going right on my nightstand to read when I get it.

Sorcery of Thorns is out on June 4th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository

Wicked Fox by Kat Cho

It’s about a nine-tailed fox! That needs to devour the energy of men! To survive! There’s also goblins and shamans and it all sounds very exciting and look at that cover (there’s a tail!)

Wicked Fox is out June 25th and can be bought on Amazon and Bookdepository

My suggestion for all these books is.. BUY THEM ALL! They all seem amazing and I can’t wait to read them all. But it’s also okay if you don’t buy them all, for whatever reason ā¤ Would there be one or more books that you’d be interested in?

Until next time,

I’ve literally gone back and forth with whether or not to get my grubby little hands on Sorcery of Thrones but I really think I may take the plunge and canoodle my mom into getting it for me (cause book buying bans be real fam) this weekend, but WOW DID I GET SOME SJM VIBES AND WE ALL KNOW IM A SLUT FOR SOME GOOD SJM.

Also why am I JUST NOW learning about Beholder?! HOT DAMN! Catch me at my local library picking up this goodness when my library gets it! Epic list Michelle!

A Sorcery of Thorns does look good! Magical Libraries FTW! I have a feeling it will be in the book box I ordered too, and also probably another one I really want to get because of the theme, but Idk if I want to end up with two. XD If we get it I hope we both like it! šŸ˜›

I have been SO excited for This Time Will Be Different, Sorcery of Thorns (highkey SJM cover vibes, though I’m hoping for more ACOTAR than TOG if the similarities don’t end there) and Wicked Fox! though honestly I do want to buy ALL the books, they all look and sound *amazing*

Thank you for sharing all these new releases with us Michelle and they all sound really amazing!
I have only heard of a few of them so I’m gonna go add the rest to my TBR as well!
I was not planning on buying any books this month but well, maybe I’ll just break my ban…
Hope you enjoy reading these books!

I haven’t heard of any of those books besides Magic for Liars (which is on my TBR!) but wow, those are some absolutely gorgeous covers.
